Donna brings over 30 years of experience in design, textiles, and garment construction, while Kelly offers an extensive background working with designers and department stores as a seamstress. Together, they merge technical precision with creative insight, offering clients a truly elevated tailoring experience. Their combined expertise includes not only standard alterations, but also specialty work such as leather repair, purse restoration, and custom hand-sewn finishes.

I was lucky enough to find Donna's place Altered. My son's coat was no longer zipping up, and with the cold weather coming in, we didn't want to wait to get it fixed. I was lucky enough to have a hand-me-down from his brother, in the interim. Donna worked very hard to ensure my son had his own coat prior to the holidays. She was exceptionally kind and very reassuring. We tried a couple of things before we needed to replace the entire zipper as she didn't want to charge me for something that wasn't necessary. When I called to let her know that it wasn't working she had me bring it right in to do the replacement. The cost was more than reasonable at about $20 for the zipper replacement. I am so happy that it was done not only quickly but done very well and as I said to her directly, I would absolutely continue to bring things to her that needed to be cared for whether, a replacement zipper or alteration, I will continue to use Donna's Altered.
